kayak and tube rentals

We offer leisurely kayaking and tubing down Cheaha Creek.

The float is 2.5 miles, You will start at 200 Cedar Springs Road Munford, AL 36268 and finish at 760 Lake Whitland Drive Talladega, AL 35160.

The office is located at 760 Lake Whitland Drive Talladega, AL 35160 .

Reservations are strongly encouraged.

All rental equipment is due back by 6:00PM

The Parking lot closes at 6:00 pm and all customers must be off the water - shuttle customers included.

We will take two persons from each group to the launch site with the equipment you rent

PLEASE drop all passengers and any coolers/equipment to our launch site, to wait while you come to the campground office to pay and park. This will help us get your group on the water quicker due to the less amount of traffic at the office.

You take your equipment and people to the launch site

Driver returns and parks at the campground

We shuttle the driver back to the launch site to join your group

We charge $10 per personal boat this includes your parking and launch fee

Kayak rentals include a lifejacket and paddle.

To help get you on the water more quickly:

Waiver required for each adult (19 and over)

Make sure your group is dropped off at the launch site

Park and pay at the campground office

​No pets allowed on rental equipment or bus

COOLER TUBE RENTAL RESTRICTIONS

Due to the amount of cooler floats that did not make it off the creek last year, we are asking that you please consider the following things while packing for your float, if you plan to rent a cooler tube:

• Please do not bring a HARD cooler larger than 16.6"W x 14.0"D x 17.4"H. An example of this would be no larger than a roadie cooler which holds 24 beverages.
  

• Soft coolers are highly encouraged.

• Always place your cooler in the cooler float AFTER the float is in the water, please do not drag coolers in cooler floats down the bank when entering or exiting.

• Please remember we do not allow coolers in our intertubes, you must rent a cooler float. Cooler floats are first come first serve unless reserved at the time you reserve your other Equipment . Reserving a cooler float is highly recommended!

• Please do not overload the cooler float with multiple coolers.
